$4.2 Million Gift Advances Early Childhood Education Recommendations from Education Partners and UALR
In Fall 2023, Education Partners was selected by UALR to conduct a study on early childhood education. Our role was to develop a set of recommendations for the university to consider—recommendations aimed at better serving children, preparing staff for careers in early childhood education, advancing research, and fostering greater collaboration among parents, providers (both public and private), the business community, and the university itself.
On August 1, Chancellor Drale shared an inspiring announcement of a $4.2 million gift from the Trinity Foundation to support and implement the proposals developed through this collaboration. Education Partners worked closely with Provost Dr. Ann Bain, Dean Sarah Beth Estes, an internal university work team, and a Task Force composed of a broad range of Central Arkansas stakeholders. (Please see the attached press release from UALR.)
This work deeply aligns with Education Partners’ mission to create meaningful impact for children who need support the most. It also reflects our core belief that collaboration drives real results. We look forward to continuing to partner with organizations who share this commitment.
